We live in the city, and we go out on real hikes once a week. The dog gets bathed every 2-3 weeks and daily wet-wipes, and i haven't seen any ticks on it except once when collar was about 6 months old and the tick was on its eyebrow (no surprise Seresto's effect fades away with time). Can recommend, although its not the common choice im my neighborhood: most people use drops instead (e.g bravecto). Free shipping came in after a month, seems like absolutely genuine product. Very happy!

Being that I live in the mountains of Arkansas, USA and even on the side of one that is very wooded area with lots of wild life. My 110 lb Germ. Shep has not have any ticks with this collar and buying form Sierra saves me money as is cheaper than in US. Bot to say this is the best collar around and is why I have been using for years
